Council’s Partnership with Westville
Nottinghamshire Authority Joins Forces With Eco Firm
A Nottinghamshire council joined forces with a firm of local insulation experts by signing a partnership agreement to promote only their work.
Rushcliffe Borough Council has joined forces with insulation experts Westville Limited, of Shirebrook, in a partnership forged at the council headquarters in West Bridgford.
Community Energy Officer for Rushcliffe, Sheila Hood, said: “We have already seen the benefits of working with Westville and this partnership cements that relationship.
“Westville Limited has worked with us providing insulation for the over-70s and people on benefits who were referred to us under the Healthy Housing Service, which Rushcliffe Borough Council funds. We have been really impressed by the service they offer.
“A lot of home owners and private renters come to us for advice on saving money on fuel bills and saving energy, and rather than send out a list of numbers we will now only send out Westville’s contact details. We KNOW they are good, they have a competitive price and they are a reliable firm that works to a high standard. We can rely on them and do not hesitate to recommend them.”
