Westville were approached by the homeowners of a property in Nottinghamshire for a render only quotation on their home.
Our renovation commission involved a series of one-bedroom flats, initially built in 1960 for housing the elderly. Sixty-one years on and they were certainly in need of some love!
Standing strong for 46 years, Markham Court was starting to show its age, so plans were drawn to refurbish the building to make it much more comfortable to live in.
Following securing £100,000 of government funding, specifically for the regeneration of Hurst Farm, Derbyshire Dales District Council approached Westville. The brief was to install External Wall Insulation (EWI) to the homes most in need, including 11 private households that would qualify for full government funding.

Boarded up and derelict for over several years, Romorantin Place was definitely in need of some love and attention. Commissioned by United Living, we were asked to install external wall insulation and render to the twenty nine formally decommissioned bedsits, that make up this Long Eaton project.

Following an assessment of household residents within the Mansfield district with long term health conditions and low incomes, Mansfield District Council approached Westville with a proposition to work together to create a scheme utilising government funding opportunities. As many of these residents were deemed to be living in sub standard properties that were not heat efficient, the brief was to create and implement a scheme that provided financial assistance for insulation and render work to be carried out at little or no cost to the residents.
The project from North Kesteven District Council involved updating the historic Newfield estate, built over 100 years ago, to modern insulation standards. Westville were entrusted with the goal of transforming the existing 83 buildings of the project with External Wall Insulation and keeping a further 18 new build houses in line with the overall aesthetic by applying a mix of render and cedral cladding.
Working alongside main contractor, ‘Fortem Cares’ Westville’s remit was to help regenerate four blocks of ‘Wimpey No-fines’ two storey flats in Hollybank Road, Birmingham.
