During 2020 all lighting in our office facility was replaced with energy-efficient LED’s.
This action alone resulted in reducing our electricity usage in this area by a massive 80%.
On the back of this we intend to replace all the lighting in our warehouse facility by the end of June with a full heating system review outlined for the final quarter of this year.
Spotlight on our people
Westville’s Operations Manager Rob Baggaley is working hard to make Westville HQ carbon negative by the end of this year. Rob’s initial project was to fit super-efficient LED lighting in all office areas, which is now completed. Further plans will see a complete upgrade of our current solar system. These improvements will ensure a fully renewable energy source will power our electric heating system.
