Sheltered housing accommodation

The Brief.

Brocklehurst Court is a sheltered housing accommodation based in Chesterfield, Derbyshire. Having being used for a number of years it had become extremely tired and very much in need of renovation.

Following consultations, Chesterfield Borough Council commissioned Rotherham based Fortem to manage a project that would see Brocklehurst Court transformed into a modern, comfortable environmentally friendly establishment.

Surveys were carried out to identify the extent of the work needed and as a result it was confirmed that as part of the renovation, the property would require render, cladding and insulation.

Work Begins.

After consultations with Fortem, Westville was awarded a contract to work alongside them in the completion of the project.

When the site was vacant, and residents temporarily re-located, Westville commenced work in December 2017. We worked throughout the winter to complete the project by June 2018, on time and on budget. Residents began to move back into Brocklehurst Court Mid-July, and were all amazed by the transformation.
