Scott Walters is our Commercial Manager and a key part of keeping projects running smoothly and profitably. With years of experience and a sharp eye for detail, Scott plays a vital role in making sure everything adds up.
What’s your favourite part about working for Westville?
Being part of the Westville team. There’s a real sense of purpose in what we do: improving homes, supporting communities, and doing it all to a high standard. It’s also a great environment to share ideas and grow together.
What is the most rewarding part of your role?
Seeing projects go from drawings and planning right through to delivery and knowing you’ve played a part in making that happen successfully is a great feeling.
What do you like to do outside of work?
I’m a big football fan… whether I’m watching my favourite team, or watching my son play for his local team, you can talk to me all day about the beautiful game.
I also enjoy getting outdoors, spending time with family, and keeping active when I can. In 2024, I completed the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge as part of the Westville team to help raise money of MacMillan Cancer Care.
If you could have any superpower to help you in your role, what would it be and why?
Superhuman communication!
A big part of my role is liaising between clients, internal teams, subcontractors and more. Having the ability to communicate flawlessly, understand everyone’s needs, and resolve issues quickly would make every project run smoother — and ensure nothing gets lost in translation.
