Sustainability has always been central to how we work at Westville. From daily operations to our long-term vision, we believe that responsible business is good business. To support the next stage of this journey, we are pleased to announce a new partnership with R2G, a sustainability consultancy specialising in helping organisations embed environmental, social and economic impact into their work.
Understanding our starting point
The first phase of our collaboration has focused on our property, existing commitments and overall sustainability performance. R2G carried out a detailed review to help us understand our strengths, identify gaps and highlight opportunities for improvement. This has given us a clear and robust foundation for what comes next.
One of the immediate outcomes of this work has been the identification and delivery of practical building upgrades. This includes new solar infrastructure, helping us lower our carbon footprint, increase efficiency and build long-term resilience into our operations. These improvements mark a positive step towards our wider environmental goals.
Progressing towards B Corp
Looking ahead, the next phase of our partnership will focus on progressing towards B Corp certification, the globally recognised standard for organisations committed to balancing purpose with profit. Together with R2G, we will expand the reach of our sustainability activity across the business, engage our team more deeply and build sustainability further into our culture.
Our work with R2G is not simply about meeting environmental targets. It is about creating a model that is economically sound, socially responsible and environmentally positive.
